Literacy

Curriculum Intent

At Parsonage Farm Primary School, our Literacy is under–pinned by the National Curriculum. Through carefully adaptive and inclusive teaching, we ensure that all children have the ability to reach their highest potential. We recognise that Literacy is fundamental to accessing a wider curriculum and our children’s future successes. By combining Oracy, drama, texts that are more challenging as well as the children’s own interests, we challenge ourselves to create enriched and more meaningful experiences, which support our children to become confident and independent writers and readers.
